Don't apologize. Seriously, Cait, don't.

I take it the Wally here isn't the Wally we know back home.
text;
Nope. Still...pretty good though. And his Iris' nephew, I think? Because I'm his uncle. Or other me is. He replicated how I got my powers, it was so dumb but I mean he has them at home too so.
text;
Wow. So that means the Iris on his Earth has a brother (or a sister), like our Iris.
Replicated? He set off a dark matter wave, doused himself in chemicals used during fingerprint analysis, and got struck by lightning?
text;
Yep, which makes the whole naming thing weird, but I don't even entirely want to know.
Well. Not the dark matter wave bit? But the other bits, yeah. Had the right chemicals and then he got struck by lightning.
text;
Well, is Wally or Wallace a family thing in Iris's family?
That's crazy. Not crazy. But, astonishing? I was always under the presumption it was the dark matter that was the catalyst for your abilities.
text;
I don't think so? But I never asked Joe about it because it didn't seem important.
Apparently it was the lightning. Or at least it is in Wally's world. It's entirely possible it's true in our case.
text;
It was just a thought. With two relatives of Iris named Wally, but for them to be different relatives.
Why do I have the feeling our world, our corner of the multiverse, is the outlier?
text;
It could be possible. I mean if I could remember things from here when I get ported out, I'd ask him. Honestly. Maybe I should figure out a way to make that happen.
Because you're deciding that you need to be a scientist about it and signs do kind of point in that direction. We do have me and Oliver and all the pieces just not maybe in the right order? It's like the Star Trek movies, you mess something up, everything goes out of whack.
text;
That's still so strange to me, that we won't remember things here if/when we leave. Like, we would forget seeing Eddie again.
I need to be a scientist about everything, Barry. You've been here longer, you've talked to more people from similar worlds. What else are we missing back home?
text;
It's...I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the nanites, honestly. Or the trauma from being ported in? not that there's trauma involved but you know what I mean.
You really want to know?
text;
Like, what, dimensional shock?
I do. I've heard about the Justice League? From M and Karen, but didn't get many details.
text;
Something like that. I mean, it doesn't explain why speedsters like me experience it too but you know. It's the closest explanation I can see.
That's one of them. The JL is supposed to be me, Oliver, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. I think Laurel might also be a part of it, but I'm a little less sure about that. Superman's from Metropolois, Bat from Gotham, Wonder Woman from ??? and Green Lantern is supposed to be from Coast City. He's actually...you remember that pilot who disappeared from Ferris Air a while back?
text;
If only there was some way I could study it.
That was Hal Jordan, I think? I think Laurel is part of it, yeah. Karen asked a few questions when I mentioned her. But Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman - are they here, have you met any of them?
text;
There might be. But it'd be pretty risk.
He likes keeping his secret ID a secret. Don't spread that around. I've met Batman before, but he's gone I think and...I think Superman just came back. He's so cool. I am such a fanboy it's not even funny. Same with Wonder Woman but that's mostly because people keep saying she's really cool and all. I've never actually met her.
text;
Then maybe there really isn't a way to study it.
My lips are sealed. What makes Superman so cool?
text;
Or we just have to find a way to make it work.
Let's start with the whole alien thing. And the fact that he has super strength and speed and he gave me a little plushie and it was really cute. I still have it! Also he's just been doing the hero thing for longer.
text;
I am open to suggestions.
Wait. Alien? Superman is an alien? Then is it really fair for him to call himself Superman? And you can't compare length of tenure as a hero, Barry. Our world is just starting out on this path.
text;
It is because he's lived on Earth his whole life. Alien or not he's pretty Earth-y. He's Superman. A humanoid who is super. And I can when I'm pretty sure he has decades on me. He's like a Yoda.
text;
Yoda, huh? Does that mean he's going to ride on your back while you run around a swamp? And I still say you can't compare it, because he's probably had his powers his whole life. Whereas you've had yours about three years?
