Barry Allen
Hey! You've reached Barry Allen. I'm not available to take your call right now because of— a reason. Leave a message or just text me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. BEEP.
The Flash
This is The Flash. Not Kid Flash or Impulse. The Flash. I can't text and run. I'll get back to you ASAP and you know that's pretty fast coming from me. BEEP.

[ A solemn nod before she glances back at him, crossing her arms over her chest. Her entire torso goes stiff, the discomfort that that man was never the Jay Garrick they cared about evident in how her shoulders pinch and gloved fingers tighten around her biceps. ]
Or Zoom. I'm not sure how much he's told me is true, but the Zoom you've been dealing with has been him all along?
action
[ If it sounds bitter when Barry's saying it, he doesn't seem to mind that it sounds that way. He is better about it. He had told Shade that Jay was here and that he had finally met him and he was so happy. To have it ripped away like it was by a simple trip over some shoes makes him so angry. Everything about the situation makes him angry and bitter and makes him feel like he's not the Barry Allen he wants to be or should be. ]
It's been him all along. I don't know how because I only found out because of Cisco tripping over shoes and vibing it and Caitlin telling me. If I get ported out I'll likely live through it but I'll be honest, I really don't want to if this is how I feel now. [ He lets out a shaky exhale. ] He broke my back. The man who I was treating as a mentor broke my back and I had no idea it was him.
action
[ She really hates how worked up she's gotten over the Hunter debacle. It reminds her that she's actually been desperate enough to allow herself to get too attached to people, essentially strangers, all because she's mistakenly seen a piece of home in them.
Well, imagined it. How could she have been so blind? ]
Jesus. [ Hunter's made a huge mistake wronging them both, she thinks. ] Has he gone after you here?
action
No, and I'm not sure why. [ His hand moves to the back of his neck and he just rubs it for a moment. ] I understand him not doing it before I knew— he had to keep up his little charade. But now I know and there's no reason not to go after me.
action
[ If he's been after Barry, but hasn't attempted here, Peej has a suspicion Hunter's biding his time. ]
I'm sure you know already... but be careful. He may not be the Zoom of my world, but it sounds like he's still incredibly dangerous.
action
[ Even if Barry usually would assume that stranger things would happen than just Hunter playing nice indefinitely, it doesn't feel like that's the case. It feels like the other speedster is a ticking time bomb and Barry isn't sure he wants to be near when he goes off. ]
Caitlin— She said he'll steal my speed. I wouldn't be surprised if he killed me. Even if he's not the one from your world, I think that if past experience has taught us anything it might just make it easy to assume they're both pretty crazy and dangerous.
action
If anything, I know a speedster can stop him. You can do it, I'm sure... and you won't be alone.
action
I— that means a lot to me. You saying that more to me than I can really say. Because I know I'm still learning new things and I still have a long way to go but I love knowing I won't be alone even beyond my friends from home. [ He pauses. ] Can I hug you right now? This feels like a hug situation.
action
I'm not going to stop you, heh. [ A light chuckle. ] I know this alternate universe thing can get grating and... it can be awful and hurtful.
[ Painful, even. ]
